Observatii: Cele patru volume de poezie ”The Poetical Works of Alfred Tennyson” sunt colegate in doua volume. Editorul Christian Bernhard Tauchnitz din Leipzig a semnat un contract cu Alfred Tennyson in anul 1859 pentru a aduce in Europa o editie de colectie a operelor sale. Primele patru volume au aparut in 1860 la Leipzig, iar al cincilea volum, ”Enoch Arden, Etc” a fost programat sa apara in 1864 - exact cand aparea si editia in limba engleza. 

Observations: Four books of poetry bound as two. Leipzig-based publisher Christian Bernhard Tauchnitz signed an agreement with Alfred Tennyson in 1859 to bring out an affordable European collected edition of his works, for which he would be paid a small royalty. The first four volumes of Tauchnitz`s ”The Poetical Works of Alfred Tennyson” were published in 1860, while the fifth volume, ”Enoch Arden, Etc”, now printed in Paris as well as Leipzig, was timed to coincide with the English publication of the book in 1864.
